Our mission
Aim High PDX’s ultimate purpose is to positively impact as many young people and families as possible through the efforts of unique curriculums, implementation of behavioral health strategies, job creation, and educational methods that focus on respect for ourselves, others, and our environment in an effort to work against victimization, bullying, depression, suicide, and discriminatory ideology.
Aim High PDX fulfills its purpose through the following departments:
Aim High Academy of Martial Arts – A Martial Arts school teaching self-defense, self-discipline, respect, and much more to children and adults of all ages.
Aim High Impact – An Applied Behavior Analysis clinic providing 1:1 treatment to children diagnosed with autism. Aim High Impact primarily accepts clients whose severe behaviors (i.e., aggression towards others and themselves) have resulted in them being turned away from other, less-equipped, providers. This program currently serves children and adolescents ages 6 to 18.
Aim High Ascent – An Early Intervention Applied Behavior Analysis clinic providing 1:1 and group treatment to children diagnosed with autism. Aim High Ascent serves children 2-5.
Aim High Ink – A screen printing shop providing apparel for various local businesses and around the country and creating jobs for transitional/at-risk youth.
Aim High Events – An events programming department providing camps, birthday parties, and other events for youth in the community while creating jobs and volunteer opportunities for young adults.
